Welcome
A rock band with melodic twists and political undertones. Absolute energy from start to end."
--Bryan Norkunas, KMUD radio DJ,
Baby Harp Seal Club show

Thanks for coming by. This is a new sound, reflecting influences that range from art punk and new wave to jazz, hip-hop, and funk, with flavors of industrial and acid in a roux of country. Songs vary from punked covers of Gershwin tunes to bluegrass standards to pounding hard-edge screamers to melodic guitar-washed alt. Twisty guitar, kickass drumming, driving melodic bass, and conscious lyrics deliver high-energy brain food with a beat. Politically and socially aware, they honor the wisdom of the body.

29 April, 2008:  Victoria and Bill have relocated to New Orleans. Stay tuned for further developments.

They were selected the CD of the month for February, 2006, by HumboldtMusic.com; hear them on that webradio stream along with other fabulously Humboldt bands;  also hear them on radio stations KMUD, KHUM, and KSLG.  The regional venue Mateel Community Center, located in southern Humboldt County, California, was their home base for more than six years.
