Baby Harp Seal Club show Thanks for coming by. This is a new sound, reflecting influences that range from art punk and new wave to jazz, hip-hop, and funk, with flavors of industrial and acid in a roux of country. Songs vary from punked covers of Gershwin tunes to bluegrass standards to pounding hard-edge screamers to melodic guitar-washed alt. Twisty guitar, kickass drumming, driving melodic bass, and conscious lyrics deliver high-energy brain food with a beat. Politically and socially aware, they honor the wisdom of the body.
