  • Our bassist's family home was destroyed by a mudslide in the big storms of winter 2006.  Their neighbors are holding a benefit and we're playing.   The event starts at 1pm and music starts then with an acoustic group, High Tide.  We play at 2pm, then Big Daddy Blues Band, then Black Sand.  Silent auction, raffle, barbecue, beer/wine/soft drinks, desserts, good times.  We're doing the newest songs we've worked out, our versions of the Clash's Know Your Rights, and of Bob Marley's Get Up Stand Up. It's cracking me up hearing our version of those songs.  Our bassist's father is in the band Black Sand, so it should be fun playing together.

Guinness and fine local beers on tap. Snackie things available. Of course we'll be playing all lullabies so as to avoid disturbing the art patrons... NOT! Music starts 9pm, $2 cover after 9. • We thoroughly enjoyed the show... Victoria did her homework... The other band that played was actually Lethal Antidote, another local band.  Mass Destruction didn't play reportedly because their drummer is a Republican and wouldn't.
ROCK THE VOTE! 4-6 pm. We're honored to be included in this event, there will be 2 other local bands including Mass Destruction, plus opportunity to register to vote and hear about the upcoming "special" election. Come out to demonstrate commitment to using our democratic rights and hear some energizing music.
